There are actually a few Asians in the NBA. Yao Ming being the most well known Chinese NBA player. The Lakers had a guy named Sun Yue last season, Yi Jianlian has been in the NBA for a little while too. but it is true that there are not many Asian players in the NBA. most of them are sill playing in Asia For other sports, golf has several Asian players. they have so many players that I can't even name them all (Tiger Woods is half Asian, Thai i think) Tennis has quite a few Asian tennis players, especially on the women's side (most popular are Na Li, Jie Zhang, Ai Sugiyama, etc) The MLB has several Asian baseball players too it might not be that they can't not make it in the NBA (because they have made it in the NBA), it might be because they don't want to come to the NBA. Many people thought Yao Ming would have a hard time making the transition to the NBA because of the different style of play, the NBA being a lot more aggressive and the lifesylte is almost the opposite from that he was used to. many Asian players don't want to put up with the social change. Yi Jianlian wanted to get drafted to a team close to a place with an Asian population, but those are very limited in the US. When he got drafted to the Bucks, he threatened to not play because he didn't want to go there because of the low Asian popuation. The social change is a huge factor in Asian players deciding to come to the NBA since it is so different, so maybe that is why there are not too many Asians in the NBA. But they definately can make it in the NBA.

Well, I'm biased; so not surprisingly, I like the 2 I became unbeatable at by the time I was 15: Kick2Kick Aussie football AND Wall Veeball/downball.
They would be my 2 favourites.
But I also have certainly loved tennis over the years as well... and formal Australian Football is one of the most highly skilful games of all

Volleyball is defiantly the most interesting. Unless you're one of those testosterone junkies who need to see a bunch of 300lb guys hitting each other. And it is so much more explosive than all the other court sports with a net.

Volleyball is definitly the one that needs the most work. You have to have arm strength for the serves and consistent setting. You have to have good shoulder muscles and hand-eye coordanation for passing a ball. And you have to have fit legs for bending down to dig a ball. You also have to be quick and beable to move fast to chase a ball. You need to be able to jump high for spiking. Gosh there is so much more you need too. But most importanly you need to know how to communicate to your teamates and learn that there is no "I" in team.
But I do love volleyball and is the most important sport in my life. Heck, it is my life.
