Yes its one of the biggest sins because you didnt create yourself and didnt give this health and life to yourself! Therefore its not your business to end it. There are too much things to live in this world. Please dont think about such a bad thing like that!

Rather than worry about whether or not it is a sin, try to think of the pain that it will cause to those who love you. Suicide ALWAYS causes horrendous pain for those who are left behind to pick up the pieces.

I'm sorry to throw guilt on you, that's not my intention really, but you need to remember that no matter how bad life is there are people who love you and care about you. Commiting suicide only hurts them.

May you find the peace that you seek in this life.

I don't consider that a sin but it shows that the person who committed suicide is a coward because he did not want to face life anymore.

A sin? I'm spiritual...not so much 'religious' yet as I understand it the church says "yes, it's a sin". In a spiritual sense...I'd answer, yes, suicide is not o.k. because God has his plan for us and he knows what our lessons and journey are on this planet. It is not for us to decide to end our journey (life)...that is for God to decide. For a person to take their own life (suicide) is a statement to God that you don't trust the journey He has us on while on this earth. If you want more thought on this...let me know...otherwise I'll just leave this statement as is. Have faith in your life's path and hold fast...hold fast.

Yes it is BUT, IT IS NOT UNFORGIVEABLE. If you will read in the Old Testament, the prophet Samuel appeared to King Saul and warned him that because he had consulted with a witch that "TOMORROW YOU AND YOUR SONS WILL BE WITH ME." And Samuel was dead and in paradise-- The next day--SAUL COMMITTED SUICIDE BY DROPPING ON HIS OWN SWORD. So it is clear that Saul, though he committed suicide--was in paradise, Also King David thanked those who returned the remains of "The Lord's servant Saul." The Bible also says "Saul and Jonathan in life were swifter than eagles, and in death they were not parted." And Jonathan was a righteous man, and a close friend of David. I HAD A DEAR FRIEND WHO COMMITTED SUICIDE, AND THROUGH THESE SCRIPTURES I KNOW THEY ARE SAFE IN HEAVEN.

Yes its a sin.
God gave us life,and only He can take it from us.
life is God's gift.we cant throw it away.He wants us to fight until the end,just like He did.
I hope you dont think about commiting suicide.
