My mother died 14 years ago today, at 06:38, this morning we were awoken by a big crash from the living room at 07:43, a picture had fallen from the wall, where it has been for 10-12 years, it smashed a couple of ornaments and the glass broke. What do you think, just coincidence or a little sign?

Don't know about a 'little' sign - it was a great big one! Seriously, as a S[piritual Medium I would say your mother has been trying to make contact with you for some time, but you have not seen the signs. The only way she thought she could attract your attention was by making it a big crash on her passing day anniversary so you would definitely know it was her. She just wants you to know she is still there. Be aware of any other signs such as the lights flashing on and off, or dimming. Ask her to give you a sign you will recognise and open up your senses so you don't miss anything. Incidentally my own Mum died on the 24th November 3 years ago.

It depends on different things I guess and your personal beliefs. If you mother was a Christian and you believe she is with God, then I would think she would not have earthly worries or memories. Some families or churches believe more in signs than others and I will admit I have seen some similar things as you claim. Normally I feel if a glass breaks it means a shattering or a breakup in someones personal life, As far as the exact time, remember there are many time zones worldwide. I would examine the physical evidence first, like a broken hanging wire or a weak point.

all incidents and accidents can be accounted for by science in this one. Sorry to burst your spiritual bubble, but you might have had a small earthquake, a helicopter might have flown over and shook the picture off, or a plane, or someone drilling construction work in the distance could have shaken it off....sometimes fireplaces have drafts of wind that run through them, it could have been a draft that knocked the picture off the wall, the rustling of a rat or mouse inside the wall itself could have set it off the hook, or the starting of the heater/AC vents or heater/AC units in the attic or basement could have vibrated enough to knock the picture off.
It is unfair to immediately rule it as spiritual, as that would not give any other option any thought or chance that it might have occured another way.....
I would examine 1. the back of the photo(check for loose hangstring) or something that would have finally give out after all those years.
2. The wall itself to see if there was a loose nail.
3. Look for any explainable evidence before you deem it spiritual.

The twister also hit Pope County and moved onto Conway County and killed one individual. unusually adequate, Pope John Paul II and comic Tim Conway once beat someone to lack of existence in Reno - in simple terms to computer screen him die. coincidence?

Hard to say. Was the nail/hanger loose? Who or what did the picture depict? Did you wake up just before it happened - or were you woken by the picture falling? Did you get any distict feelings or thoughts when it happened? Trust your gut. I believe human instinct is very precise in matters of the supernatural. What was your first impression? That is probably the correct answer.

I would say its a sign. Did something else happen this time? Think hard and it may come to you. Remember what you were doing or feeling an hour after she had died. Hope this helps!

Definitely a coincidence. There is no life after death, so what else could it be? Of course, it could be a sign you need to take more care when you hang pictures on the wall.

Coincidence.. The timing of the happening does not match that of your mother's death. Also what kind of sign is that, if it is really a message?

Oh it may be a sign, a sign that you need stronger nails or to make sure the nail is in a 2x4.
