Give him the ring back.
Unless he says you can keep it.

Etiquette says you can keep the ring if he calls it off but... I would give it back. Remember that Pretty, big, pink diamond JLo had... she gave it back even tho she was dumped. I would, too. It's just because they bought it & why would you want that as a reminder?
Some guys might still be making payments on it & I don't think it's fair if someone changed their mind. Even if they hurt your heart you don't have to make 'em pay. :) You'll feel better by taking the high road. Best wishes to you!

If I already paid for some of the arrangements Iwould sell the ring to compensate on what I've lost. If we broke it off mutually i would give it back. After we're married and get divorced your not getting it back something has to compensate for what the bast*** did.

Sell it and take the money and go on a shopping spree.

Unless it turns out to be a fake.

When i got dumped, i tried to give back the ring, but he told me to keep it.. So, one year later, it sits in the orginal box that he came in, on my shelf next to my perfume.

At least offer to give it back. He will probably refuse anyway

Give it back. It shows you are the woman who has been well brought up and has ethics.

Ask him if he wants it back - if he does, well, give it to him, but if he doesn't care, keep it - you might enjoy the memory of it in later years

Donate it to the Salvation Army. It's tax deductable and you would feel good knowing it had helped someone who had need.
