Given your avatar name, you sound like you may be a girl.
If you are, please don't focus too much on your weight. You would be surprised how many little girls are developing eating disorders and a distorted view of how they look in the mirror. To much focus on weight will truly distort how you truly look to yourself and others.
Put your efforts into being happy and healthy. Play sports, take a cool modern or hip hop dance class, join a squad, rollerskate, and be as active as you can. Your weight really won't really be a concern if you keep yourself active and happy.
Don't let others question your weight or make you feel bad if you aren't living up to their weight standards. Pay careful at to all the actresses that are dealing with eating disorders. Some people get so skinny and their minds become so distorted that they can no longer see who they truly are and the healthy person they used to be. Many die with eating disorder struggles. Do not go down that road. Just live life as actively and as happily as you can, no matter what weight you are.

Hi
It really depends on whether your nine year old is a boy or a girl and how tall they are. You can calculate your childs Ideal Body Weight at
http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/growthcharts2/l/bl_ibw_calc.htm
You just have to enter their age, height and weight and it will tell you if your child is underweight, normal, at risk of becoming overweight or overweight.
Hope this helps!
