The True God Jehovah. The true God is not a nameless God. His name is Jehovah. (De 6:4; Ps 83:18) He is God by reason of his creatorship. (Ge 1:1; Re 4:11) The true God is real (Joh 7:28), a person (Ac 3:19; Heb 9:24), and not lifeless natural law operating without a living lawgiver, not blind force working through a series of accidents to develop one thing or another. The 1956 edition of The Encyclopedia Americana (Vol. XII, p. 743) commented under the heading “God”: “In the Christian, Mohammedan, and Jewish sense, the Supreme Being, the First Cause, and in a general sense, as considered nowadays throughout the civilized world, a spiritual being, self-existent, eternal and absolutely free and all-powerful, distinct from the matter which he has created in many forms, and which he conserves and controls. There does not seem to have been a period of history where mankind was without belief in a supernatural author and governor of the universe.”

God is a spirit and should be worshipped with spirit and truth

The best 'definition' of God is in the Qur'an. Ponder over it, and if any -god- fits this definition, we have no qualms about worshipping Him.

We do not prefer to use the word 'god' but call Him by the name He chose, 'Allah' cuz of obvious problems with the word god. If there's a 'god', there may be a 'goddess' but Allah has no gender, this is a HUMAN trait. If there's a 'god', there can be 'gods', but that is absurd cuz there is only ONE God.

Here is a translation of the verses I just mentioned. It's just a translation from the arabic and does not capture the entire meaning from the beautiful words of Allah.

"1.Say: 'He is Allah, (the) One.'
2. Allah, As-Samad [the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks)]
3. He begets not, nor was He begotten.
4. And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him. (There is nothing like Him).' " [Qur'an 112:1-4]

my question is, do you believe in God?
well however, God is God. you can't see Him with your own eyes because we're sinners. You may don't believe that He is really exist. how do I know? well see the world. atheis says that God doesn't exist but who created the world? if they say it happen accidentally or it happens by luck, what power that can let it done and make it done? and if the world created by accident, I'm gonna put a banana and a battery in a glass case and lock it. who knows it can be a computer or a radio by accident.
and Darwinians say that human comes from a evolving creature like a monkey or something like that. if that so, why we still can see a monkey? think?
so for me, God is God. He is who help you though you still denied His presence. For more information, get in touch with a priest in the nearest church. you will get more answers there.

"God" can be explained as relation to 2+2. In all theory 2+2 = 4. 2+2=4 can be explained almost an Infinite number of ways, so can "God." Some of the ways of 2+2 will have false statements to them, as well as "God"

These are just things created by the minds of man with a system to keep quantity of things. "God" is there to keep quanitity on things apparently. But once it all boils down to zero.....2+2 and "God" are things created by man, to help man better equip the rest of mankind with understanding, fear, knowledge, and moral.

When broken down they are nothing more than "concepts" meant to teach a lesson to mankind. "God" is a concept, a figment of man's immagination.

"Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass Aught of his knowledge Except as He willeth. His throne doth extend Over the heavens And on earth, and He feeleth No fatigue in guarding And preserving them, For He is the Most High. The Supreme (in glory)."

God is That which exists, All That Is; It is formless, invisible, perfect energy. It is Love Itself, peace, infinite. God creates, God sings, God extends Its light as It extends Its love (Itself), and takes the final step as we awaken from this dream.
