People are just being petty and exclusive by saying that. Jesus is not the only reason for the season anyway. And the Christians do not hold exclusive rights to the December holidays. But that's not the point here, I guess. I don't know about X meaning Christ in another language.

Xmas is just the lazy man's way of writing Christmas. But actually, I think it's very appropriate since I think society has already removed Christ from Christmas.

It's not bad. It's Greek. The word "Christ" and its compounds, including "Christmas", have been abbreviated for at least the past 1,000 years, long before the modern "Xmas" was commonly used.
However, no matter how it's spelled, Christmas is a pagan holiday.

No other language I've heard of. If a person is too hurried or lacks energy to write out the word Christmas...then maybe C'mas is a better alternative

It seems to me that they're worrying about things that have no importance at all. If you're a Christian, then you know Christ. And if you know Christ, then that's all that matters.

its not bad, "xmas" is just a shortcut for "christmas". but if you're true christian, don't you think its proper to write "christmas"?
