what is the effect of u v radiation on skin when it pass thru photofilm/suncontrol film?

will there be any effect on skin after passing thru structural glazing and photo film used in automobiles etc is it true that it will cuase skin irretation and may even cause cancer pl respond and if possible give me reference books to go thru

It blocks the damaging rays and doesn't let them thru.
