This is very hard for unbelievers to understand. In fact, when I was an immature Christian I used to feel the way you do. However, as you strive for things of God, God changes your desires. When you feed the things of the flesh that is what you crave, when you feed your spiritual person, then you crave things of the spirit. This is Biblical, and if you want the scriptures, please feel free to email me.
In Paradise there will be peace and love. Isn't that better than self-destructive partying and drugs?

How do you know these things will not be in heaven?
I believe there is music playing there that outdoes anything any of us ever heard. And God has been likened to the father of the prodigal son who threw a party when the son came home - not even giving any thought to the inheritance that the son squandered.
I personally believe, too, we'll get video playback on all the events in the Bible will special effects like no one on earth has ever even thought of - all the stuff happening behind the scenes of all the miracles and things that never even crossed our mind that would blow our little finite minds while still limited to the earth realm.
And all that heaven has to offer can only seem inferior to those who haven't tasted of the heavenly gift. Once you taste, all that other stuff is so inferior it can't even begin to compare, and it becomes very, very apparent how incredibly insane it was that we were ever into that stuff and that we thought it was so all that. It's kind of like growing up thinking that boiled road kill is a stellar delicacy then sitting down to eat one's first Ruth's Chris filet mignon. After the filet, the days of eating road kill can't help but be over.

God tells us that heaven is going to be the best place you can imagine and then times that by a billion. He says that no matter what you think it is, it is better. When I first became Christian, I had the same problem, I didn't want to be singing to God for eternity, but as I have given myself to him and said "you will not mine", he has shown me a love I can't even describe. Now I am not scared, if he can make my life so amazing down here with the simple things, I trust that there are going to be way better things up there than the things I enjoy down here. You will never know what exactly heaven will give you, but it is worth trying for I can tell you that.

Your wrong about the party part. Heaven is a party. No drugs, you are right. Why do you want to spend eternity in Hell? All the dammed will be there burning. Drugs is a demonic thing so why on earth would you want to do what pleased the devil? Heaven is a place of love, so why do you not want to be loved? There is no love in hell. i know of somebody who has been to hell. Jesus showed him hell so he could tell other people about it and write a book of it. He has gone all around the world telling his testomony and it has saved thousands of souls that were detined for hell. What he endured will shock you. and if you do not believe in Hell then just wait. It is a literal inferno, you think that 110 degress farenheit is hot, then try over 300 farenhiet, and besides there is no water in hell, and you experience a thirst so great you think you are going to die, and you will be locked up in a prison cell made out of stone walls which of rough, and you have to endure pearcing screams from the dammend, and the smell of that place, well try putting sewage, burning fleash, egg, burning sulphur together, and times that by 1000, and you may even come close to the putid stech of that place. You can hardly breath. And demons are there tormenting you causing you so much pain. They will drag you out of the prison cell in the darkest darkness you have ever encounterd and get their claws and rip right through you and maybe ever throw you against the wall like you are nothing as you will be nothing down there. You will have your memories intact and your 5 sences seeing, hearing smealing feeling etc. You will feel hopless, and guess what it will be for eternity. And guess what, when Jesus comes back one day which will be very, very soon he will drag your *** up from hell and you will be reunited with you body that was buried and stand infront of the Great White Throne to be condemed and after you are given you fait, you wil be thrown in alive infront of the holy angels and Jesus into the lake of fire burning with brimstone and sulphur. Imagine putting your hand on the stove in the gas while it is on, painful right? Then try and imagine that pain all over your body in a much hotter flame for all of eternity. And you say you do not want to go to Heaven. God will honor that and you will have to spend eternity away from him, in a place of torment, and torment it will be.

No one really knows what heaven is like. Most of the things that you listed, parties/drugs etc are not things that you will always like. Supposedly, Heaven will be ALOT better than any drug or party...the ultimate love and embrace of God. When your young it seems that way, that parties and drugs are the be all end all, but usually people grow and change and those things dont seem so important later in life.

I feel the same as you but for some different reasons. T think those devout Christians will be very surprised when they get there. I doubt if it is anything like they think it is.
No I think I have found what I want here on solid ground. Sure can't get much better for me than it is now.
I don't even believe in such thing as heaven or oven god. I do feel some sorry for those that think they need such beliefs.

yea you know, sometimes you have to hand it to the islamic radicals.. doesn't 70 virgins sound a bit better than the boring harp? No wonder they crashed those planes into the WTC. They thought they were going to be boning in group sex.
Don't you think you're being presumptuous anyway? Have you looked into what activities there might be for you in hell? You'd better add a few really bad things to your life portfolio so in case you go down you don't start out in the lowest ranks.

Heaven has everything your mind can imagine and desire. It also has much more that you could never image or dream of. Heaven is a place of pure pleasure without any guilt.
