I would approach someone and talk about this. You may have depression (which can manifest itself as paranoia). Don't wait to talk to someone. If it isn't anything serious you can stop worrying about it. If it is something a little more serious, you need to get help as soon as possible.

These things are common in many people. The important thing is to get help and work through it.

Good luck to you.

here's some advice that I spam yahoo answers with. i would suggest you immediately go nuts on it, following it to the letter. Go heavy on the exercise. The first two weeks will be rough if your diet is unhealthy right now. If you are not improving significantly after the initial shock wears off, you need to find help. My guess, and I'm no doctor, is that nothing will make you feel like you did before, unless that something is a chemical. Probably stems from the aging process plus a genetic tendency but you may have exascerbated it somehow, perhaps poor diet or posture?

anyone who is depressive should take a good multivitamin most days with a meal. while you are at it take a calcium-magnesium-zinc pill, unless by some miracle you get enough calcium. (or you take a calcium-based antacid) also, get lots of beneficial fatty acids - particularly omega-3. take a couple grams of fish oil daily if you can't find enough dietary sources.

then try getting lots of sunlight. get some vigorous cardiovascular exercise as often as you can. practise good posture and learn a little about basic yoga postures and t'ai chi warmups.

eat a varied very high protein, high fiber diet low in saturated fats and refined carbs. shun additives and preservatives. you want fresh whole foods, not overcooked. eat leafy greens and colourful vegetables. eat tree nuts, eat fish, eat more fish, the more nutritious fruits (berries, etc.), herbs, legumes, and some grains. don't eat sweets or drink sweet/sour drinks. instead eat fruit. diet really really really matters. it has a slow cumulative effect. I know these diet changes can be inconvenient and costly. However, because the alternative occasionally involves hospitalization, and because the overall quality of your life will improve on this diet, I believe it is necessary.

stay hydrated. this can be a matter of simply avoiding certain foods that dehydrate you. try to get plenty of regular, restful sleep.

that's all that comes to mind. you might wanna check if you notice any effect from ginseng pills. If you use caffeine, try 3 weeks off. If that's no good, consider optimal dosage and timing relative to work/sleep.

Talk to some one who has known you a while if you seem different . Don't feel bad about being careful where you eat or from who you from . I myself am very picky not cause I'm afraid to get poisoned but because if I don't know how a persons living conditions are is there kitchen clean and so on that part I find normal.. God Bless..

Head for the phone book and locate a counselor. You are still able to shake this off at this point, but if you don't see someone to talk it out, it will develop into serious issues.

I would talk to a professional about it. Feelings like this are good at getting more intense if you don't seek help from a professional counsler. That's awesome that you see this as a problem, now it's time to do something about it right?

You should first tell someone you trust then go get help. I really don't want to sound men or rude but you may have a real problem that can turn it to something big.
