You can contact cemetaries in the states you think he is buried in and ask them, they will tell you. I know that is a big undertaking, but worth it if you get the information you need. You can find out what state he was living in when he passed away by looking it up on the social security death registry. You can also contact local newspapers in those areas and have them look up obituaries, but that will cost you some money. As would hiring a Private Investigator, but the latter could probably get the information pretty quickly ... they know where to look and how to get the info.

Good Luck+

I have a question for you, do you have your father's social security no. or even his birth certificate? Quite often you can find out where your father was buried on his death certificate, but lacking that you can always find out where he was born and if the family hasn't moved, then he is probably buried somewhere in the vicinity.

Using the genealogical sites can be a great help. Search also on the site for where he was born to obtain his birth certificate. You can do all of this thru the mail. It is a nominal fee.
Good luck!
Also talking with relatives is a good option. They may have the program from the funeral with sufficient information or the name of the funeral home and they must keep their records. They should also be able to tell you where your father was buried.

I wish you the best of luck!

The key would be to find a family member who knows where they are buried. Then you can contact the cemetery office and they will give the exact location of the burial. Or you can go on line and look at archives of newspaper for obituaries. These are the only suggestions that I have. Good luck with your search. God bless****
