I recently realized that I love my best friend. This is okay because she loves me to . Everytime I am around her I get butterflies and all I can think about is kissing her and holding her(not to mention other things). How can I tell her this without sounding like all I am interested in is sex? (we are both women by the way).

if she is your best friend she knows you more than anyone else, so she should know you want more than just sex.

it depends on how long you've know-en each other I guess, like how well she knows you. If your really close she probably feels the same. Just strait out and ask her don't be shy. Ya she may think it's just about SEX, but you never know it could open up knew doors. Ask her to kiss her, let her know what's on your mind. Holding someone is the comfortable position to be in for the both of you. Butterflies is like the Tingles and Everything. Sounds like Love to me. I'd just express my true feelings, what's the worst that could happen? Give it a shot!

How u know she interested in u? Have she propose / hint u? I mean if u both really have deep feeling for each other, i think it's fine. U can start giving her a goodnite kiss after phone chatting 1st, see how she react.

Casually talk about what she thinks about girls together (in general), See if she has thoughts and curiosities. Make sure you're not obviously asking for yourself or she may be uncomfortable around you if she's not interested in that. Chances are if she can read people at all she already has suspicions about you.
