There are 2 basic types of seas salt. One is gathered by drawing sea water into an evaporator and quick processing it and then grinding it... has a good taste but not nearly as grand as the second method. In it they allow the water to evaporate naturally and then the salt is at the bottom of whatever container it was in. I find the best to be Sel Gris. It comes from France and it has been made from sea water that is brought into marsh pens and dried by the sun... it has 44 trace minerals in it and that is why there is a sweet taste to it and when you put a few crystals on your tongue it actually feels good.

Sea salt is obtained by evaporating sea water. Sea salt actually has a different tase than table salt though. Table salt is sodium chloride refined from mined rock salt (halite).

Yes it is real sea salt and usually it comes from the dead sea, which is technically a lake. But there is real sea salt.

it comes from the sea ,in France you can see the Salt Marshes,if you evaporate sea water you will get salt

Yes. It can come from salt evaporators; and there are lots of them around. Much of San Francisco Bay is salt evaporators.
