I have long thick hair that gets frizzy if I dont straighten it (with a straightening iron), and I dont have time for that so its up 24/7 and thats really bad for your hair... anyone have easy straightening tips? I would like the results to be similair to the iron, flat, non frizzy, straight, shiny, flat..... again. Thanks

i have that problem too! ok heres what iv found works well for me:

go out and buy 100% aloe vera gel (DO NOT GET THE GREEN KIND! they sell it in clear get that i use: fruit of the earth) when your hair is still wet (or some what damp) comb out your hair and use about a silver dollar amount and add it directly to your hair, comb it though to space it out evenly, then let your hair air dry ( i usaully put my hair up in a ribbon so i dont get kinks) and it should get kinda crispy, then brush it out again and AMAZINGLY! your hair stays straight and silky soft, thje crispiness is gone, plus the aloe makes hair very shiney!

i hope that helps!

Go to a Japanese or Korean Hairdresser. If you do it permanent it will last up to 6 months to 1 year. Is better, saves time and looks just like the hot iron. I have my hair done at a Korean Hairdresser and still looks great after 8 months.

well you could get a chemical straightening done at a salon ..loreals the best ! but if you can then just blow drying and applying a little serum on your hair might work if you have the patience that is ...since your hair is long ( i take that to be around waist length) i would suggest just going in for straightening ...that gives you the razor sharp hair ..but if you must know the fashion is out rt now ! otherwise you could try hair sprays and anti frizz sprays to just keep your hair in place !

I have the same problem. I use a straightening solution before using an iron on my hair. It helps protect your hair from the heat and also protects against split ends and burn.

If you want more permanent results then you might have to go to a chemical relaxant. Your beautician can assist you to find the right one for you and you can have it done in a parlor as well. its harsh but otherwise its back to the irons.

Try hair rebondin. it would be quite expensive but on the outset, it would be more cheaper than ironing for eternity. the first week would be a delicate stage but when it matures your hair would become great.

frequent hair styling can damage your hair and make it more stubborn, try hair rebonding it works, best if your hair is not treated it could last up to 6 months, it might be expensive but it's worth it
