Before I became a christian, I did not believe in Satan, demons, Hell. I most certainly do know I have encoutered that realm. Jesus is very real, more real than you or I. There are many historical evidence for the proof of Jesus. The birth and death of Chrsit was prophecied about 1,500 years before he was born in the old testement. In the book of Issiah it talks about Jesus on how he came to set the captives free, it talks about Jesus in this way, that he was like a sheep that went to the slaughter(talking about his crusifiction) In Isaiah 42 v 1-4 it says "Here is my servant(God speaking to his prophet Issaiah), whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations. He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not bread, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope" Also in Isaiah ch9 v6-7 it says "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever, The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this". There is a lot of scripture in the old testament way before Jesus was born to back up the evidence, and everything that was prophecied about Jesus came true. We now have to wait on his return and when he does everything would have been fullfield. Jesus is coming very, very soon, much sooner than what you think. Why do you think the weather is changing so fast, the risk of a nuclear war in the middle east on Israel, the great earthquakes, all of these things are coming much stronger. Jesus said you will here of wars and rumours of wars, for nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, there will be great earthquakes, famines and pestelences in various places and all these are the begining of birth pains. Before Jesus returns there will be a 7 year tribulation which will be literal Hell on earth. Jesus is surely coming soon. Be ready, by giving your hear to Jesus and loving him so much as he is sweetheart. Hell is very real. Hell was made for the devil and his angels not for human beings. But thoes that reject Jesus and what he did for them of the cross will perish. God does not sent people to Hell, people make that choice while they are on earth, and if they live a life seperate from God on earth, then God will grant their requests when they die, and be seperate from him for all of eternity. In Hell they will suffer greatly. A lot of people think when you die that is it, I use to think that too before I had my mask removed(spiritual) and believe me it is a terrible thing to die without knowing Jesus. A lot of people ore in for a terrible shock when they die, as they will not cease to exist, instead find themselves in a place of shear torement with fire, demons(fallen angels) total hoplessness, they will have to endure the deafining screams of the other dammed and the smell of that place will make you sick and you will vomit because of the putrid smell of the place and the demons who I have been told are around 15 feet tall. The place is total darkness, and you are locked in a prison cell awaiting your final sentance. Let me ask you a question. If somebody went out and murdered one of your friends and then went to court and got away with it, would think the magistrate is unfair? They why would God let sinners escape being punshed. Answer, he will not let any sinner go unpunished. God is a God of justice. We have all broken the law of God and diserve Hell, but because Jesus came and payed the ultimate price for our sins, thoes that believe in him and repent and turn from their wicked ways and exept him into your heart then you will be saved. But if you reject the salvation package, you will die in your sins and God will not let sinners into Heaven. You will end up in hell instead. I hope that helps. God bless.

"Who here has an opinion on the belief of christianity?"
Just about everyone, especially on this forum!

I used to think there was "a god, jesus, heaven, or hell..."
I came to that belief as a young adult, despite having been seriously unimpressed by the Christianity I was introduced to as a child (village church as social focus...)

After many years as an actively living and serving Christianity, largely because I was studying trying to know it better, I became more and more aware of the problems inherent in it. Despite wrestling with this over years, including prayers and tears, I finally concluded that the honest thing was to become an atheist.

A costly decision. For comfort, for friendships, for social network. But it wasn't something I was prepared to lie about.

I do not believe that god exists, or jesus, or an afterlife. I think we as humans have to ask questions and attempt to answer them and this process of discovery is what makes us better people with a deeper understanding of how we all fit in with each other. Religion stops the flow of questions at one point that doesn't allow for a deeper insight into the world around us.

Well this has been my experience with religion but I've met many people who disagree with my analysis.

Thomas Jefferson by no ability claimed to be a Christian. i would not vote for this type of guy or woman on the instant. area of my reason may be that he became such an immoral guy. a minimum of invoice Clinton, yet another immoral guy, waited till women have been 18. Jefferson beginning sound asleep with a slave female who became in basic terms 14 years previous and in certainty, had six toddlers via that slave female. Why did no longer Jefferson marry her? That slave female's first call became Sally and there is somewhat some evidence to instruct this affair somewhat occurred. Pastor artwork

I believe there is a G-d. I believe that Jesus lived But, Jesus was just a man, and not G-d. G-d is One. There is no G-d but G-d.

Heaven and hell? There could be. But, I do not worry about it. I do my best to live a decent life on this earth. The rest will take care of itself.

Yes definitely. Here's a poem that may answer your question:

I AM A CHRISTIAN
Maya Angelou

When I say... I am a Christian
I'm not shouting I'm clean livin'.
I'm whispering I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven.

When I say... I am a Christian
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need CHRIST to be my guide.

When I say... I am a Christian
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I was weak
and need HIS strength to carry on.

When I say.. I am a Christian
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
and need God to clean my mess.

When I say... I am a Christian
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
but, God believes I'm worth it.

When I say.. I am a Christian
I still feel the sting of pain;
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

When I say... I am a Christian
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner
who received God's good grace, somehow.

Everyone here has an opinion on christianity. I think christs philosophies were good, but modern christians have distorted it to the point that it is almost the opposite of what he taught

Yes, I believe in G-d, Jesus, Heaven and Hell.

And the Bible, even though you didnt ask. Reason I believe (I was athiest 28 years) is because I witnessed miracles. Also G-d touched my heart.

Blessings to you,
David
