You guys really have nothing better to do with your time??? This is what i got from you guys a little while ago. Even though I know that I did no wrong i still had to make sure that i am correct and that you guys have a power complex. So i read all through your Community Guidelines and found no instance of a violation what-so-ever. More and more people are talking and complaining about your ability or lack thereof to edit the forums correctly and now you have turned more sets of eyes in that direction, its a shame to see a well thought-out forum like this go the way of the dodo because of overzealous nerds like well that. What TOS's or Community Guidelines did I break in the eyes of the all mighty abuse losers?

Was I wrong????

I don't think you were wrong. The same thing happened to me. I asked A simple question: Are you bored and how are you relieving that boredom? It was removed. You can write to them but you will get the same response everytime.

LOL, is this a question about "Etiquette" or about "Yahoo products and services?"

Regarding the violation itself, it MIGHT have been that they thought it was "chatting and personal communications" or possibly "spam and advertisements" due to the link to a website (as opposed to specific content on that website used as reference in a question or answer). I agree though, whichever they THOUGHT it was I can't see pulling down the question -- it is a straightforward enough question and seeks actual answers, so I have no idea what their actual disagreement with your question was.

As far as the etiquette of your response goes, I think your reply to them (additional details) was overly sarcastic and I would have recommended simply asking them to elaborate on which specific item of the CG had been violated. But I understand the release of venting at the faceless bureaucracy....

I don't think you did anything wrong. But maybe that certain word sounded bad to someone.

take into consideration the quality (or lack thereof) of people who work here. it's not their fault. it's their parents'.
