First confirm that it is not due to any viral infection, because there is fever. If it is not there it might be rheumatism. Do RA test and ESR. If ESR is high and pain is unstoppable it is rheumatism eventhough RA test is negative. We call it Negative RA. Unfortunately there is no medicine for rheumatism but we treat it with our research. If it confirms you should think visiting us otherwise taking painkillers till death is the only thing you can do. Therefore first confirm it.

Bursitis may be the cause of your discomfort, this can be caused by your job you have, the movement you put your body through and if this is your dominating shoulder. Even how you sleep can exacebrate the pain. Can get so bad that it can take steroid shots into the affected area for lengths of comfort. Sometimes as easy as resting the affected area in a sling when you can for a couple of weeks when you are off work of course... Ibuprofen will help take the inflammation down and make it easier to deal with..Stay away from the scripts if you can. Ice will help you heal also... Good Luck

Sounds like your in a lot of pain Honey: Sounds like Arthritis Pain. Your going to have to see a doctor about this. It could also be Rheumatism. This is something that has to be addressed medically. Have you seen a doctor yet..? you don't say. He's the one that has to give you the tests to see what he can give you, the blood test for the Rheumatism and the Arthritis and see how bad it is through these. Then he can prescribe something for it like Lodine and Vicodine,Lyrica,Darvocet all for the pain and relief, pain management. You'll have to see him first. Don't worry about money. Social Security Medicare now pays for most of everything.

You didn't really say what kind of pain you have in your head but everything else sounds pretty much like a good case of gripe (flu). If it persists for more than 2 or 3 days or if any of the symptoms get worse seek medical help just in case. In the meantime, lots of fluids, plenty of rest and pain relief tablets (not aspirin) should help.

Arthritis and fibromyalgia come to mine immediately, even though a couple of the symptoms sound like flu. Talk to your doctor, and keep in mind arthritis is easy to diagnos- but it is not always so with fibromyalgia. Ask questions! Best wishes..
