Darwin denied his own theory and said that there has to be something higher. Did everybody know this when they were teaching it in schools.

1.) There's no evidence for that at all.

2.) It wouldn't make sense anyway. Darwin never saw his ideas of natural selection as being at odds with the bible.

3.) It wouldn't matter if he HAD "denied his own theory." It's a very useful one, and it's backed up by an overwhelming amount of evidence.

This is almost certainly apocryphal, but go ahead and believe it if it makes you feel better.

Although I've never heard of Darwin refuting his own theory. From what I've seen of scientific evidence there are huge gaps in the so called 'theory of evolution'for which science still needs evidence.

So currently we do not have a full chain to show mans evolution and thereforeI dont know how all of those who say that they believe it from the scientific evidence out there can be so sure as yet?

Frankly I dont believe my ancestors were apes though :)

But his theory turned out to be the TRUTH. and his religion and holy book False.

whatever happened to Darwin is irrelevant. Nobody is bothered about him, but only his work. it is a classic, in front of it the christian holy book lost everything.

He was probably senile or ill toward the end of his life. Or maybe since the end was nearing for him he started grasping for anything he could. Read his book, it's pretty good.

Really would you consider sharing your source. However I did know that it was not Darwin's intention to attack Christianity. That was Huxley.
