I get depressed and just wait for things to change. I make myself do what I have to do. Then I make myself do other things that I like to do, even though I don't believe that I will enjoy them. Very often I do end up enjoying some portion. Nothing makes depression go away all at once and keep it away. B vitamins can help and the best thing is fish oil. Fish oil has been shown in studies to bring more people out of depression than any prescription drug.

Eat your favorite fruit and remind yourself how good life is.

u hv to find out the cause of ur depression, then the better way to reduce is face it, u have to take preperation for facing it. it is the real fact , after facing it u will defenitly feel how simple it was. Life is not always in good flow, there are so many struggles u hv to face....but these struggles make u a different Man.
And u must make habbit of Reading SELF HELP books available, like' YOU CAN WIN' and read good Books. don't waste life in depression, life is long upto ur end, u change ur attitude and concentrate on things that make u happier. Never look Past, it is gone, Now ur duity is to build a Better Future "" GOOD LUCK"

Well I should know the answer 'cause I've been in the stage of depression I wanted to commit suicide.

I think that u should pray about it to God. That's wat I did. I am a christian and I don't want to convert u if u r not. But I believe that if u pray to God Jesus with all ur heart, mind and soul you will not be dissappointed.

You should then ask your parents for their prayers, love and support. You can ask a very close friend or relative to pray with u to deliver u from the depression.

But never take ur depression to a very high level of doing anything dangerous. I have felt like dying once and it was scary. But ever since I prayed to God about it I have been delivered and I am Cloud 9

But once u r delivered (which I know u will be) don't just dump God pray to Him regularly and read the Bible if u feel wat i say is true and God has touched u.

It depends on what you actually do in life. But generally speaking, you have to make a concsncious effort to think about the many good things that life has to offer and the possibilities of good things that you can enjoy. Stay away from gloomy people or people that somehow make you sad. Try changing careers or doing things that you like best. Doing good things to others to make them feel better also reflects well on you.

get at least 8 hours of good sleep...when i'm super depressed my sleep is usually way out of wack. it has so much to do with the chemical balance in your brain that you can't fool yourself and think you can get away with crazy sleep habits.

usually the best answers are the simplest

benadryl will help you sleep and it's not addicting......can take up to 150 mg without a problem but i only take like 75 at the most

fix your sleeping habits before you go to a Dr........unless your suicidal (but even then it can still be sleep related)

We are responsible for every mood of ours. just take a paper and pen list out the reasons for depression, if the sources are under ur control try & plan how to fix it , if they are out of control see what best u can do like prayer, meditation etc then cultivate a habbit of taking things the way they come. u ll find life more beautiful.
