Growing as in up or out or into the body you were meant to have? Those are the real questions.
The answers are yes, yes, and yes. Yes anorexia will stop the growing process if you are still in the adolescent stages of growth. Consider the plant, corn. Initially corn needs only to be dropped into a shallow hole and covered with dirt. Then, water must be applied in medium amounts. Fertilizers are not necessary if the soil is already rich in nutrients, other wise some fertilization or plant food must be applied. The seed will germinate. It is one of the easiest seeds to get to start. However, once started it must be cared for. Growth of the plant will continue in early stages, not necessarily depending on water or plant food. But once maturity starts, teenage years in plant terms, nutrients and water must be provided otherwise you will have a plant that will tassel, the "hair" at the top of the plant; it will have ears of corn, small puny ears no one will want, and be about 4 – 5 feet tall, or about 2 – 3 feet short of what it should be.
Yes anorexia will stop the growing fat. So will reasonable diet and exercise. See any healthy living website for more information.
Yes anorexia will stop the normal development of the human experience. You will not participate in the traditional Thanksgiving family meals, the Christmas dinners, the New Years Eve parties with the traditional foods, Valentines Day Chocolates, Fourth of July Picnic's Memorial Day and Labor Day picnics with hot dogs and apple pies, and ice cream. You will be "different" from your family and friends. They will have to make accommodations to have foods that you can tolerate. They will talk behind your back about how skinny and sickly you look. Your face will be thin and wrinkles because there is not the fat content to fill out your normal cheek bones. That sounds OK to a typical anorexic because they are people that want to disappear for some personal reason. They have something about themselves they want to hide and by being skinny and maybe thin enough, they will not be seen anymore. Yes, anorexia will stop your normal development into the person you should be. Seek professional help. I am the spouse of an anorexic. I know what I am talking about. Good Luck and Keep Clear. Of course it can, you don't have enough nutrition to feed your body. It also will cause your brain to have less function, skills, thought process, and so on...
You can DIE from this. You should get someone to help you with it if you have this problem. some one with knowledge on how to help you correct the problem. Don't know if you believe in God, but if you do, prayer is the BEST thing to help. You can ask God to guide you to the right place. God Bless You. I'll be praying for you.

Basically yes.
You starve your body from much needed nutrients and your body will start to feed on itself, as in it will break down muscle for energy..
Then you basically die out from that point unless you get some medical attention..
It's one of the worse and uneffective ways to lose fat, because your body stores fat because it realizes its starving, so you lose fat much slower then rather having a good diet and exercising..

obviously not the mental condition but your body needs proteins and calcium and minerals to make new cells, anorexics dont have enough to keep the body functioning let alone make new cells.
any person suffering from malnutrition such as anorexics have growth and bone problems that effect them even when they get enough food

Yes.
Nutrient deficiency does result in an inhibition of growth hormone, and therefore growth during formative years.
