I reember when I was first seeng my period. I kind of freaked because I didnt know at the time how to put a pad on. My mom wasnt home. Nor my dad. I didnt have my moms num and her cell wasnt working so I called my father. He told me the exact instructions and everything. I was kinda weirded out.

How does he know all this stuff??

He probably learned from your mom or the box or any number of ways.Awhile back I became ill for an extended period of time,and it looked like I might not pull through.luckily I'm cured,the point is I taught my husband things like that so he could teach our daughter.He also knows when she should be able to date ,wear make up shave her legs,and how to talk to her about birth control.Dads with girls have to know these things

Recognise he is a good Dad and be thankful you have such a father.

These things aren't "female only" secrets, as you will discover as you get older.

As others said, he is an adult and this is normal life.

He probably learned so if you ever needed him when you first got it and your mom wasn't avaliable (Like what happened) he could help

he's a prepared parent...probably thought about ways to handle "girl" issues when he first found out he was going to have a daughter lol. nothing to be freaked out about.
