I am looking at 2 tvs and planning to buy one of them. One is made by Go Video and is had a HD-Tuner built in for about $750, the other is a Olevia which is HD-Ready but only $600...should I even consider either brand? If yes which is better?

Unless you are getting your TV from an antenna, the built in tuner is unnecessary. So if you have cable or satellite, the HD ready set will be fine. I don't know anything about Go Video, but Olevia has received favorable reviews.

Go for the HD TV built in. That's what it's made for!

Go with a major brand and try tigerdirect . I would look at samsung and sharp. They're the best and have good warranties.
