Contact the akc to find breeders. You can also check out puppyfind.com, and breeder networks.
You can attend a dog show and try to talk to someone showing one after it is done. The tiny chi's are costly, be prepared.
But I think you should contact the akc first, akc.org. Tell them you want a chihuahua, and they can steer you to breeders that currently have puppies listed.
Good luck.

Bad Idea Teacup chihuahuas usually get alot of health problems because of there size. Also dogs should be kept as companions NOT as fashion accesories. You will probably dress him up or put him in a bag this is cruel because when they wear clothes they are unable to move very well and carrying them in bags is just pure evil. You also sound like a first time dog owner getting a chihuahua is a big responsability because they are very hard to train.why not start off with something a bit easier like a labrador and get a chihuahua after that. Also chihuahuas are very expensive(usually over $/£1000)and dont usually need a home why not give a rescue dog a home? the staff at rescue centres usually have a dog for every person.
Good luck!

Hi, to be really honest there is not such things, people sell the so called t cup chihuahuas because they are the smallest pup in the litter, basically the runt of the litter. Breeders use thing title to get more money for the pup, health wise is not very good as they get older they have problems. I have 5 chihuahuas and one of mine is very small, please feel free to view my 360 you will see my girls and photos of my last litter of pups. Breeders will charge you around about £1500 for a tea cup, a 'normal' chi will be about £750. You can find many chis for sale on epuzs and ad-mart. Please make sure you see mum and if poss dad, you need to view a 5 generation pedigree, and if poss kc registered. Usually 'teacups' wont come with kc papers. If you view the site below it may help you, also they are good breeders and they may have or no where pups are ready for new homes. I am happy to email you later on if you need advice or help etc.
Good luck.

I bought a runt Yorkie (fully grown he is now less than 4lbs). Now i suppose they would have called him a Teacup pup. I think you should be aware that small dogs like this - the runt of the litter - can have serious health problems. My dog has a collapsed trachea which affects his breathing, and no doubt his life span.
Dont do anything on a whim. Find out about the breed before you buy. See some chi's and see if you think you and they would suit each other.
A dog is a dog, not a little thing to carry about, however small he is.

Chihuahuas are a toy breed recognized by the AKC. A Chiahuahua should be a well balanced little dog not to exceed 6 pounds according to AKC. So find a reputable breeder, do your research, get educated and you will find what you are looking for. A teacup Chiahuahua doesn't make sense, its just a ploy to make money, find a reputable breeder by asking questions and doing research, look up the AKC website too.

Why do you want a "teacup" chi? The term it self sickens me, making money off of breeding runts delibrately to make tiny unhealthy dogs. If you want a chi, do some reasearch on the breed but dont strive for a little trend dog like it seems you are doing because you specify the "teacup" variety. Also DO NOT go to a petstore or a "breeder" out of the paper. Either look for a good reputable breeder or rescue.

there is no such breed. The term was thought up so that breeders could sell runt of the litter dogs which usually have health problems. Silly people think they are buying something special. It amazes me that people pay over the odds for runts, which a few years ago, would have been given away free because of all the vet bills the owner will have to pay throughout the dogs life.

You don't need one. Not because you shouldn't want a chihuahua, but because they're already the smallest breed of dog coming in at a scant 3lbs full grown. They fit great in one of those louis vuitton bags. It sounds like you might be a first time dog owner, from the looks of that question...so let me give you some additional information and advice. Chihuahuas are high energy dogs, usually a little nervous because they are conscious of their size, and if not trained properly, will attack almost anything. from children to great danes. They are also a little yappy. Worth it if you can train them properly. If not, they're a lawsuit waiting to happen.

You can't...because they don't exist! "Teacup" is a made up term by breeders wanting to sell their runts for more money. There are two kinds of chihuahuas - long hair and short hair. Try searching for breeders in your area or look at your local shelter. Please don't buy one from a pet store...they buy from puppymills.

Teacup is another word for runt-you are paying hundreds of extra dollars for what should be a cull-these dogs are usually sickly and have various congenital disorders. Please do some more research and think before you buy.
