I have medium brown hair right now, and I've got a meduim skin tone...The color that I bought isnt totally blonde...pleez help!! I know its a dumb question but...

By the way..is it true that if you dye your hair blonde then brown, your hair will start to fall out or something??? just wondering...

If you are young and it looks good on you.
I do not like the look of older women trying to look young with light blond long hair. They look kind of ridiculous.
It is fun to try diff colors. How about trying highlights first?

NOT a dumb question at all. It's surprising how your looks effect how people treat you! Just be warned, men tend to give blonds more attention, but women tend to give brunettes the time of day. Just beware the sex symbol backlash of being blond.
But, if you do decide to go blond, I would definitely get it done by a professional. It's difficult to match the right kind of blond to a particular skin tone unless you really know what you're doing. Anyone can pull off blond hair as long as the blond is right for your skin tone. And bleaching damages hair, so if you hate it, then get it dyed again it can make your hair so damaged that even if you finally like the color, it won't look as good because it's been through too many treatments. Just spend the extra money and get it done right the first time... no worries. But no matter what, have fun with your hair. Try new things and be bold. It always grows out so play and enjoy!

WAIT! There are 10 levels of haircolor. If you use a blonde haircolor on brown hair, you might turn orange! Brown haired people naturally have red in their hair and over the counter hair colors only have 20 volume developer. Which means it will only lighten about two levels. In order to get a blond color, you actually have to use bleach, which removes color. Seek a salon that can help you achieve what you're looking for. Once you turn it orange, you'll have to pay a salon a lot more for color correction.

First let me correct you on one point.You cannot dye your hair blond,,,anytime you change your hair color to blond,it is called a bleach.....the word dye is only used when you are speaking of color,blond is not a color ,it is always a bleach.Listen up GIRLS,i am a hair stylist, and i am telling you this so as you won,t seem unlearned....If you have med.brown hair ,I think you should have blond high lights,you can have them as light as you want..I would not suggest that you do it yourself,you may end up with red hair.Hair has to go through 6 levels before it turns blond,blonde is the 7th leval..........If you must do it yourself ,you will have to go to a place like sallys beauty supply,they will sell to the public..get you some basic white,and some 30 % cream perixide,get a frosting cap and pick ,have someone pull your hair through a cap,when you put the bleach on always put a dryer to your hair to help bring it up to the level of lightness you like,then when you shampoo out always shampoo with the cap on,then remove the cap while the shampoo is on to avoid pulling on your hair,then you can shampoo your entire head...and use a good conditioner...If you cannot follow all these rules then Please see a professional....I have seen some awful sited from amatures....

I always have better luck to get a salon to dye my hair. They can mix the color better which is usually a mixture of 2 shades.
I think you could have blond hair with your skin tone.
You can be any color you want.

If you want to, then go ahead! As long as you like it, that's great! Just make sure it's not a long lasting dye incase you do want to change it or get it out!

What would it hurt? You can always go back if you don't like it. I'd say yes!
It's not like your cutting off your right arm or anything like that.
Go for it girl! They say blondes have more fun...Don't they?
