You can put frozen peas or corn with the noodles as they boil. Good eating then!

I don't eat Ramen noodles, cause they are too salty for me, but when my daughter was in college, her roommate ate them all the time right out of the package. She just crunched them. There was always a bowl full of the little flavor packets in the room that she discarded. My daughter used the flavor packets to sprinkle in her mac and cheese and said it was good. So I tried them raw and they are really good. They taste kind of like chow mein noodles and the crunch is nice and satisfying when you want something crunchy. Try it you will be surprised.

I always drain my ramen after cooking and return the to the pot and stir in the seasoning. Then a splash of dark sesame oil or hot chile oil. To dress it up, frozen peas, baby shrimp, and maybe some cilantro or green onions.
Most of the time it's just the drained ramen, seasoning and oil.

my kids love it drained as "turny noodles"... this is more of my idea of how to use it...
Asian Noodle Bowl
2 cups diced cooked chicken
2 cups thinly sliced bok choy
½ cups thinly sliced green onions with tops
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
½ cup julienne-cut carrots, 1 inch long
1 1-inch piece peeled fresh gingerroot, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, pressed
3 cups water
1 can (14 oz) 100% fat free vegetable broth
2 Tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
1 package (3 oz) oriental-flavor ramen noodles
1.Dice chicken and thinly slice bok choy and green onions using Chef’s Knife; set aside. Slice mushrooms using Egg Slicer Plus. Using Julienne Peeler, cut carrot into julienne strips; cut strip in 1-in pieces. Peel gingerroot; finely chop using Food Chopper.
2.Place mushrooms, carrots, gingerroot and garlic pressed with Garlic Press in Executive (4-qt) Casserole. Add water broth, soy sauce and seasoning packet from ramen noodles; bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add chicken, bok choy, onions and noodles. Cover; remove from heat. Let stand 3 minutes. Serve immediately.

Let the soup stand for awhile until the liquid is all absorbed. Then heat it up in the microwave and serve as a side dish with some grated cheese on top.
