im black and im thinking about getting blonde highlights,the box says do not used on permed hair and my hair is permed so how long do i have 2 wait 2 use it or can i use it at all.and what brand is good 4 our hair type and will actually come out blonde?

First since your hair is relaxed you should go to a professional and even they may tell you that they wouldn't recommend blonde because your hair would have to be lightened and depending on how dark your hair is, the lightener will damage your hair a lot. So if you do, try creme of nature and with that you will have to keep it on your hair longer in order to achieve blonde as the lightner has to go penetrate thru the cuticle of your hair to get to the cortex which is where the pigment will change,so good luck and after getting blonde you must deep condition your hair weekly for about 4-6 wks to get it back to a more healthy looking stage as possible, yes you can achieve blonde but you are taking a big risk,it's literally frying your hair to get blonde. Hope this helps.....but it's only hair and it grows back, "your not your hair" :)

Personally, I would go to a professional if I were you. Your hair is not going to turn out blonde. It is too dark...it will be orange and that will look terrible!
