I have seen sights reporting as high as half a million civilians. There is so much chaos there that no one can accurately give a figure. Based on the answers here it seems Iraqi life holds no value and analogy is used that if Sadam was killing why not us! But everyone has forgotten that Bush attacked Iraq to make life better for the Iraqis and get rid of Sadam and he is still alive while so many are dead and dying!

For the most part you have a bunch of ignorant responses that don't deserve any response. Sounds like these people picked the losers in the last election.
Also, the reason Saddam was able to kill so many Iraqi's was back in the 80's when Rummy and Bush Sr. were buddies with him, and the US financed these Middle East dictators. And you idiots put these people in office over and over. Did you think no one would notice?

Your question should read:
How many Iraqis died under Saddam Hussein and the Un Oil For Food program when he, the French, Germans and Russians were secretly selling OFFP Oil for cash and allowing his people to starve? Or how many died in prisons run by Uday and Qusay? Or How many died from being gassed or slaughtered in prison farms? Finally how many died in the Iran Iraq war?
Get it right and you will understand why we are over there.

Wow, harsh responses above about a people that we're supposedly trying to save.
This site bases their numbers on media-reported deaths, saying it totals 50,000. http://www.iraqbodycount.net/database/
If course, it's much more. The British medical journal Lancet says over 100,000. Go here to see their methodology:

None of them died. They went into a cosmetology school and came out the back door wearing disguises.

since 1990 over 400,000 have died from many different reasons. since 2003 about 60 die on a normal day from gunwound that doesn't include IME's improvised mechanical explosives and suicide bombings.

I think it is close to the amount that the muslim radicals butchered when they rammed 2 fully loaded ( jet fuel and people ) into two occupied buildings. Instanly vaporizing the prople in the plane and crushing people in and around the WTC buildings.

whats it matter how many died? do you even care how many we lost???????? i have 2 kids in the military so i can not and will not feel bad for the iraqis. we do them a favor by being there. (check your history) and they just walk all over us. if it wasnt for the us Saddam would have killed more people! you do know he got the death penalty right? so why not ask him how many have died since the invasion. hey better yet why not ask how many insurgents killed iraqs? or even better then that why not ask how many insurgents killed our children, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters dads and moms?????????
