I'd like to talk about your spiritual experiences instead of this athiest/funamentalist squablling. So I thought I'd ask a serious question that actually concerns religion and see what I get.

Respectful answers only please.

Blessings, David

Women and their roles:

Esther was a beautiful Jewish maiden who was placed by God in the unlikely position of risking her life to courageously save the entire nation of Israel.

Deborah was a strong-minded and unique woman in Old Testament times. Besides the usual role as wife, she was a prophetess, warrior and Judge of Israel.

Well, since this week was Thanksgiving His word has come alive to me in many ways as I looked back at what I am thankful for. The Bible says children are a blessing from the Lord - I'm thankful for my children. The Bible says that every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord. I am thankful for the gift of life, the gift of eternal life, the gifts of good health and of a sound mind. I am thankful for His peace which passes all understanding. I am thankful for this forum which has given me a new way in which to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

So I guess to answer your question I have been reminded about what all I have to thank God for.

David, let me tell you, last Saturday nite during prayer I ask the Lord to inform me if my sluggishness in my morning prayer was acceptable, i.e..the Lord waking me up in time to dedicate good time to Him, but I continued laying down and sometimes falling back to sleep while praying. So I needed to know was I in the wrong, So Sunday morning as the pastor was delivering the message he got to talking about slumbering and sluggish prayertime and how we need to dedicate precious time to the Lord at the beginning of the day and not saving His time for the last thing you do... And I just thanked God for confirmation, because He didn't have to answer me that quickly, but that's the awesome God I serve, He is always on time,so I took that and I am getting it together, It's just something about committing the moments of our day to the Lord, everything goes sooo smoothly and peacefully. God Bless. Thanks for asking.....

Forgiveness, that admitting your mistakes(sin) and asking forgiveness (saying sorry) is a sign of a mature person.Daily we hurt others and we must ask them to forgive us.Even the stranger we run into on the street.God is seeking mature Christians to be leaders in these last days.

The good Lord has been teaching me how to have joy through trials. It is a hard lesson. One which I think all of those who truely follow him need to be reminded of from time to time, but I feel blessed to have gone through it.

God has been talking to me about lost souls, and how the church has lost her focus. He has showed me some things that would just blow your mind if I could tell you about them, and it all has to do with His soon coming return, and His church reaching the lost.

"don't worry over anything, what ever, tell God every detail of your life in earnest and thankful prayer. and the peace of god (which transcends ALL human understanding) will keep constant guard over your hearts, over your minds. If you live in christ Jesus."
i tell myself this everytime something goes wrong ...:-)
