The officers will not need his consent. If they believe there is a reason, they will search the vehicle to make sure there is nothing in it that imposes the danger to the minor. (In the US, the "minor" is anyone who is under the age of 18).

Absolutely. Consent to search a vehicle can be given by any party who the officer reasonably believes has control over the vehicle. In most cases it is the driver who has control and from whom the consent should be sought. If the owner of the vehicle is present, but not the driver, I would personally still seek consent from the driver as they are legally the person in charge of the vehicle. The fact that the driver is a minor does not invalidate the consent.

When it comes to driving a vehicle, the person driving can give consent no matter the age. If the age is too young to even be driving then the officer does not even need consent.

Police dont need consent to search a car, if they suspect something in the car they have the powers to search the car and any one in the car.

minors are not supposed to drive vehicles as driving requires a valid driving licnece which has prescribed certain rules and regulations to follow and speciy the minimum age limit to get a licence. so it is an offence. any object whether moving or static will be subject to search by the law enforcing authorites and in case of any misdeeds the owners can be halued to undergo judicial process.

no. because he/she is a MINOR, they are not legally responsible under the law. the parents are. so, be respectful of the authorities or you'll get arrested and allow the vehicle search and if you're concerned about vehicle searches, behave yourself in the vehicle!
