Honestly, We don't know for sure.I may be argued by others, that's okay. People have different beliefs. People will actually argue for what they believe.Me, I'm being honest about what I say. I even try to get an answer from my Grandmother(who is a christian) and I asked,"How do we know that God is real?", She told me,"How do you know that you exist?" I didn't answer that because I don't. I don't know if I am even dreaming. That life is not real. Just believe what you believe, and some people might listen, Otherwise, They'll argue. But if you want a Christian's advice, They'll probably say something like He will always be there, in the wind, with the sun, He is perfect and will always be there.

The Bible states everywhere that He IS love. He has every positive characteristic. But he is also so good, and so righteous, that he must judge us.

If you're in a courtroom, and you've stolen a car. and you have been proven guilty. and the judge is a really nice guy..very kind to everyone around him. just because he's a nice guy, doesn't mean that he's going to let you go for what you did. you will have to pay your fine. Just as God is SO good, that he must judge us according to our "crimes" (sin). But the cool part is, He showed his love for us in the biggest way possible...He died in our place. He died a painful, terrible death so that we could be free of that fine, and, even though we are guilty, we are set free.

So yes, God is very kind and loving. The scriptures say so. And so did he, by laying down his life for both you and I.

Number one proof: He died for our sins to save us from the suffering that we deserve because of sin. God sent His only Son Jesus to suffer the consequences of sin because He loves us so much. John 3:16 says that "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." This is a promise that we can lean on. Having faith in Jesus means "believing in Him despite the fact that we do not see Him". His physical form is a mystery to us now. But He is there. He is in control. Second is that He is loving and forgiving enough that despite all our sins, He still loves and forgives us. He is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient, and sovereign. He is in control. He is a perfect God who is Creator, Provider, Peace, and LOVE. He is more than we ever could need. He gave us our lives. He owns everything, and yet, lent us what He owns. If He does not love us, He would not give us our lives. And trials- remember that you can get through them because God will never give us a trial too big to overcome. He never will give us a trial too big for the grace He has given to overcome it. He is the main reason that we are here. He may sometimes seem far away, but count on Him. He is there..ü

Read about the life of Jesus in the New Testament, a seperate part of the Bible because it gives the world the chance to believe in Gods kindness without having to become Jewish. After doing so, you will be able to read the rest of the Bible to see Gods love. Until then, your going to have difficulty understanding such concepts that you have highlighted. The understanding is worth the effort because they will enrich your life beyond your wildest dreams.

Are you crying inside? I have too. Sometimes my life took me to places that I only had Jesus. And I found him. Is Supernatural.
I know because I've had supernatural experiences with him. Yes the bible tell us a lot of things. If you don't read the bible, you say things like some of the people before my answer. They hear here and there but never searched or studied. Spirituality is not something you grasp easily. See--is spiritual--not flesh. You can't see. You feel. He is kind. He is forgiving. He died on a cross so that you can actually live after you die (spiritual). But if you don't believe in him, he wont be kind to you when you die. He gives you all the chances now, when you live. But if you choose to laugh at him, make crude jokes and be ashamed of him, then he will be ashamed of you when you stand before him. There is supernatural life. Some people believe that as well but in a different way. I believe based on the bible because that is what I have to base my faith in him.
When you loose someone you love, like it happened to me last year (my dad), you really want to believe in eternal life. That you will see that person again. Jesus offers this to us. I hold on to this with my heart because I not only want to see my father and all my family after we all die, but I also want to see HIM, the one who gave this gift to me.
Don't believe in what people say --- that he is bad. He wants your respect and love. He is God!

5 Then the LORD came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed his name, the LORD. 6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation."

It says in the Bible that he is a loving, kind ,forgiving God. But it also says he is a venegeful God too.He sent his only begotten son,Jesus, to die on the cross for ALL OF OUR SINS.Everyone. But you have to believe this (John 3:16)and ask him to come into your heart(and really mean it) and forgive you of all your sins.He will. All you have to do is ask.Praying is the best kind of high there is. Try it. God will listen.

because he has been all this is the past. Yes he punishes people for their sins but he shows mercy very soon after....adam and eve they sinned so he curses them how ever straight after that he clothes the witht he lamb...he covers them with the lamb. protects their nakedness and gives them hope of a new life. also it says in the bible that God never changes so if he was loving and kind in biblical times he is just as loving now....:-)

I have a feeling as though I have met him before. Its an odd, unexplainable thing.
Sorry that I can't give you a better answer,it is just a very spiritual and personal experience that one has to go through to be able to even begin to understand it.
I am not going to say "well...that Bible says he is!",because while I do believe that the Bible supports this concept,my personal feelings and experiences give me more proof and have proved to be just as important.
