there is this girl that i really like and i have been dropping hints to her that i like her and i am pretty sure that, by now, she knows that i like her. it seems like whenever we go out with a group of friends, she makes it a point to walk beside me and listen to me whenever i start talking. she also invites me to do a lot of stuff with her. But, i recently called her because i had given her a ride to the airport and just said hi and to give me a call back but she never actually called back. Does this mean that she doesn't really like me like that? or is it just because she hasn't been home in a month and finally got to see her family/home again?

If she didn't call you back it could have been because she was busy, she didn't hear the phone ring, or her phone did't show a missed call (like if she has Cingular). There is no reason for her to not call you back, so don't freak out about it because ir sounds like you guys are good friends. What you have to worry about is if you're just a friend to her or not. My sex is notorious for having guy friends who would never be boyfriends and we treat them pretty much all the same. You might need to try being more direct or asking one of her friends what she thinks about ya. Just to let you know though, if you try asking a friend instead of her directly, she's still gonna know that you asked. ;)

Well it is a possiblity that she may like you back. But she might not have called back because she hasn't seen her family in a while. So give her some time maybe a few days and then call her again and see how she is doing.

She liked you, It would be in your best interest to stop all of this non communication and get the answer from her asap. Pick up the phone and give her a call. Tell her that you cant keep your mind off of her. Ask her what she thinks about you.

It sounds like she got bored of tired of you. I dont know but if you didnt tell her how you felt, asked her out, or made a move, thats probaly why she hasnt called. She really dont know if you like her or not unless you tell her, and not wait to long. You cant let the ship sail.

Give her a couple days on the callback if you haven't already. And if she doesn't call back, you could just ask her out or you could just let it go. I'd recommend asking her, then you can never look back and say, crap...what if...

She probably thinks you're a very nice person but not someone she wants to become seriously involved with, at least not at this time. You need to find someone else to share your life with.
