Fruits. Dogs will eat both fresh and dried fruits. Stick with apples, berries, bananas, and seedless watermelon. Don't let your dog eat too much! Too much fruit may upset your dog's digestive system Foods to keep away from your dog are:
Sweets. Under any circumstances, DO NOT let your dog eat chocolate. The chemical theobromine contained in chocolate is toxic to canines and even in small amounts can prove to be fatal.
Uncooked red meat and bones. Uncooked meats may contain harmful bacteria, parasites, and cysts, which may make your dog sick. Bones may be dangerous because they can splinter and puncture your dog's gastrointestinal tract.
Chicken and turkey bones are a potential hazard for your pooch. These small bones can splinter and puncture the stomach or intestines, or cause choking.
Grapes and raisins can be toxic to canines if eaten in large amounts.
Onions and garlic can cause anemia in dogs.

I seen a show on tv once where this golden retriever I believe got ahold of some grapes. Good thing the teenager seen a show on tv about how dangerous it was for him....he could have died! So, I know grapes or raisins aren't good for your dog, but, thats all I know. I wouldn't chance giving them fruit....what for? Feed them dog food or meat or bones....at least we know thats pretty safe.

My dogs love bananas and apples. I've heard that raisins and grapes can be harmful, though, and somebody said something about avocado. So I'd be careful--maybe compile a list of fruit you know for sure won't be harmful, and only give your dog these.

Onlly give fruit if there's nothing else available. But I don't recommend it on a steady basis. My other dog lived to be 19, eating only dog food. Good Luck!

Yes, dogs like many fruits. Go easy on the grapes, though. They can sometimes get intestinal distress with them.

Yes, it can be good as a treat. Just don't feed them grapes, raisins, avocadoes, or macadamia nuts-- those can damage a dog's liver or kidneys, and macadamias can cause poisoning like chocolate will.

Fruit and veg is good for dogs. Apples and oranges are perfect.
also try fresh yoghurt and the odd raw egg. this can sometimes help them eat thier dry food if its getting bored with it.

I have three dogs and they eat bananas apples sometimes grapes. You have to watch how much you would feed them though because they can get stomach aches easily. Their stomachs aren't like ours and ours sometimes do the same thing. A piece once in a while shouldn't hurt.
