which is the best digital camera in the market ?

i am looking for a decent digital camera, willing to spend around 250 dollars, know any good deals?

A lot depends on what you are going to use the camera for. What type photos you want to take. How accurate and clear and noise cancellation you want.

There are many and most will do a good job. Look for the bells and whistles that will give you the most latitude for the dollars you want to spend. Any of the main brands are good and the more popular ones you also pay a lot for the name....look for something in the 2.0+ mega-pixels the more mega-pixels the better the photo and the more cost.

Canon Powershot, sony cybershot Kodak etc are some of the cameras available in the market. I have a Panasonic Lumix and it gives very good results. i took some pictures at a friends wedding and they were better than results of Canon EOS, Sony cybershot etc. For more details go thru following link:-

Consider a Canon Powershot A530 or A540. I'm leaving you a little budget room to buy some batteries and a decent memory card of at least 512 MB.

Hi. You can't get the best for 250 but you can buy second hand from pro. check www.keh.com and/or write to [e-mail] (Ed Warrick). Keh is the largest second hand reseller on the planet. They'll stretch your $.

go a little over 250 and buy the Canon Powershot SD630. you wont have to keep buying AA's because is a li-ion battery and it has a quick ISO and a good image processor so it gives badass pics. we have it for like 270 and this time of year is good to buy mem cards are on sale for cheap cheap cheap.
