no it will dry it yes but it will overdry the area around it. You need to let it be and go see your doctor for a topical antibacterial lotion or gel. Then wash your hands both before using it and after. Keep your face very clean. Wash at least twice a day. Use face cloths only once to cut down on germs that cause zits and that should help. These things may not get rid of todays zit but should prevent tomorrows. Qtip treatment might work but be cautious as rubbing alcohol will only dry and will not clear a zit
Ceptaphil is an innert cleanser that even removes make up but is gentle to skin and recommended by dermatologists. I use it and it has greatly helped balance my skin.

Rubbing alcohol is okay or even hydrogen peroxide. You can also use the old fashioned trick we used in highschool which is toothpaste! I have also used antibiotic ointment as well. Usually a hot compress is the best thing going! Try to not squeeze the pimple unless you use two sterile q-tips! Press gently on both sides and stop once you see blood. Make sure that in the day you don't touch your face and keep your hands clean! When I was a teenager the doctor put me on Retina-A which worked miracles on my acne. However I have found that Clean and Clear makes great products that work wonders on the face! Heres to wishing you a nice ,clear face!

You could, but most likely, its going to dry up that zit and the skin around it. Alcohol is very harsh on your skin. I would save alcohol as a last resort.

Ava,

I don't know about that .... if you get it good and drunk you never know where it could stagger and pass out ..... I'm sure where ever it is now there is a worse place it could show up!

Never give under aged Zits alcohol !

A mixture of yoghurt, witch hazel, lemon juice, mint toothpaste and Clearasil should take care of it. Apply those five ingredients along with eating a tablespoon of olive oil with crushed raw garlic. Do this for three days twice a day. Should be gone in two to three days. Noticeable difference after one day.

It can dry it out, but witch hazel is like alcohol but much better for your skin. Also, use oil. Carrier oils like almond are good and if you add a drop or few of certain essential oils like lavender, chamomile, etc, it calms the skin. You may think your skin is oily, but drying out your skin causes more pimples because your body naturally creates more oil to replace the moisture you are missing. so, moisturize your skin to reduce oil build-up, and breakouts. also, oil like vitamin E oil can make it so that blemish doesn't scar!

it would likely overdry the skin which isn't a healthy skin treatment for acne. It is an incredibly harsh way to deal with your problem... if I were you I'd head to walgreens and pick up some acne medicine.
