I need a good easy diet and exercise routine to follow for the next few weeks, before the new year. Would like to loose15 lbs.

Currently-5'4", 145 lbs.
Diet-currently on a 2500-3000 calorie/day diet
Exercise-None-walk to and from car

2500-3000 is pretty high, you should reduce that, especially if you aren't currently active. You can go online to see calorie calculators that will show what your daily intake should be. Also, portion size is and important consideration - when too many calories are taken on at once than the body needs, the excess is stored as fat. A simple mindset is that to lose weight, take in fewer calories than is burned throughout the day.

A combination of cardio and resistance activity is optimal. Running or walking, biking, swimming.

Go shopping for 2 to 3 hours daily til christmas and snap pictures of anything that interest you. Snack healthy and drink plenty.

Cut your cals 1500-1800 a day and exercise!!!
