I have a baby brother, he is only 1year old, he always gets too many bumps on his head, after one broose goes away, a few days later he accidently gets another one, he just got another bump on his head 2days ago on an afternoon, that night the bump just got bigger! The bump looked very scary, one time my baby brother got a bad hit on his head, we had to take him to the doctor, I am very worried, I don't want him to have brain damage. He just looks so cute!

While I would not recommend just putting him in situations to get bumped in the head - little ones can take quite a pounding when they fall, trip and so on. Nature makes their little bones more pliable than ours, and less likely to break..., that doesn't mean they wont, obviously.

When a tyke gets goose egg bump - just watch for projectile vomiting (gushers) and very odd behavior out of character for the lad..., and of course.., take him to a doctor.

As for bruises you didn't say how he got them, so I assume he's just falling down, or bumping his head raising up under a chair or table, etc... all that is normal. Some of these little fellas just fall and bump into things more than others. Don't sweat the small stuff. Just the goose egg variety.

Babys heads can actually take A lot more that a adults heads. Thank God they are made like that. Look what they have to go through to get out of their mother!!! Their head is very soft for the first couple years then gets hard like yours and mine. If the bump goes outward it's not so bad. If it dents inward better get him to the peditrcian. Keep him away from intables, and try baby proofing better. Limit when he can toddle around. Keep him trapped on the carpeted area!!

Hi.
Have you taken him to the doctor yet?
I suggest you take him if you haven't.
He'll probably be fine because babys have very soft heads. I'm pretty sure he won't have brain damage unless he gets hit really really hard.hope he gets better!

If he falls a lot he might need a helmet. It will keep him from hurting his head anymore. They make really cute baby helmets.

You guys need to watch him more carefully, take him outside to play, run and jump so he'll be too tired to play inside but please watch your brother if your parents aren't.
