HI try pulling your hair back into a ponytail slightly lower on the back of your head, back comb a bit and add spray. Then divide the hair into 2 parts. Let one hang down and wrap the other around it at the root of the pony. Once that is done secure it with a bobbypin or other item that will hold it in place. Take the remaining piece and wrap it in the opposite direction around the other bun. Take a pretty comb or boy and place it above the bun. This is a modified chinone (french style). The style can be done with braids easily. To do a nice updo with a braid, make a tight pony, divide the pony hair into three parts and take the outside part and place it over the centre piece in the middle, take the other outside part and place it over the middle piece in the same way frm the other side, continue to do this til the hair is all braided. Then spray the braid to secure it , wrap it around the pony root and add a pretty comb. Another style that is less fancy but also impacting is to make a pony and divide into one fat piece and one skinny piece about finger width wide and then bring the fat pony half way through itself creating a loop. secure with elastic. Now take skinny piece and wrap it around the elastic to cover it. Secure the skinny piece with bobby pins. The same thing can be done by making a braid with the fat pony and making the same loop by bringing it up with the end part under and securing with an elastic at the root. Take the non-braided skinny part and wrap it around the elastic that surrounds the braid base. It is a lovely treatment. I wish I could provide pics but I cannot here. Good luck

A very simple hair do I use all the time (but looks like I spent forever on it) is...
1. Pull hair back (kinda on the top of your head, if you can) like your going to put it in a ponytail but dont pull the hair all the way thru.
2. Get bobby pins and pin the bun in different places.
If you want to use some mouse first scrunch your hair a little bit to give it some hold. Then hairspray. The good thing is you can just try pining it in different places until you get what you want and you dont have to worry about it lookin messy.

Depending on how layered your hair is: You can do a centered french braid or two on either side. If you do the single down the middle back from crown to nap and can leave a few wisps of hair in the front. Minimal product needed depending on length and texture. two down the sides front to back parted down middle same technique.

A messy french twist? Let some of the layers in the front hang down. And do the french twist but don't tuck in the left over hair let it stick out. Or do a bun the same way with layers in the front hanging out to frame your face. Good luck :)

I've got long hair as well and know your dilemma.
You can try for a low, slightly sideways ponytail. Add some clips or a headband to it for a little oomph.

Adding a side part is always good. Along with that (side-part), a nice sleek look is nice...lots of product will be needed.
Good luck!

hairstyles rely plenty on your face shape, yet one that works for any shape is in certainty what each physique has been offering you...huge loose curls, doesnt remember in the experience that your bangs are down the middle or to the side, in spite of the reality that to the side supplies extra of a glam look. as continually, spray your hair in the past and once you curl. carry a hair tie with you so in case you choose for to place your hair up later, you are able to, and as somebody else pronounced, the messy up-do is thoroughly in. you should do yours AND all your individuals with this look in 3 hours. stable success!!
