i have a hp laptop and ive had some problems with the hardware on it. It is under warrant at best buy where i could take it in and get it fixed. The only problem i have is that it has daemon tools on it. There are no images of disks on the computer but daemon tools is on there. Im just wonderin if anybody can help me with my delemma and what i should do. remember there is no illegal images of games on the computer but daemon tools is on there HELP

well i just remembered that i also have lcohol soft on there as well but its pretty much just more elaborate

They're not going to care. Heck, they might copy the tools from you. But if it's a hardware problem, they might never even see the tools. You might make a "Valet" type account so you can give them access to the system without giving them access to your data and programs.

No, daemon tools is not illegal, nor is Azureus, or Limewire, or Alcohol 120%. Now what you do with those tools may be construed as illegal. Like the earlier guy said, you may have a crowbar in your car but that doesn't mean you are a burglar.

daemon tools has legitimate uses as well and its not illegal. i use it ocasionally to keep images of discs that require cd checks becuase i'm too lazy to put in a cd. they wouldn't even care if you had tons of illegal images and downloads on it. the one thing you do want to keep off your system is porn, especially if you are into child or gay porn ;P
