All persons are composed of 3 parts, a body, soul, and a spirit. The body is what you can see now, the soul is the thinking part of you and your spirit is the part that goes on after the body dies. The spirit is the part of you that experiences heaven or hell. Some people think that the soul can be reborn into different bodies. I haven' t determined what I think yet, I'm just gathering evidence from different sources. I don't think anyone knows for sure exactly. I think it may be a blend of everything. I am sure that we are spiritual beings having an earthly experience.

Yeah, let me give you a visual on how that works:
Everyone born gets a soul, a big, bright beautiful thing that comes from your parents, who got it from theirs, etc. and when you are born it is a perfect globe.
But unfortunately for us, we are all on a huge mountain called life and your parents are standing at the top of this big thing and they have to toss your perfect sphere of a soul down the mountainside.
As you probably can imagine, many factors can determine the condition of the globe by the time it hits the bottom of the mountain; the first being which side of the mountain they lobbed you off, you know, whether they dropped you off a cliff or gently rolled you through a sloping meadow.
Some factors, like trees in the way or rocks, can't be helped and they can smash your globe or dent it. But regardless, what is left when it gets to the bottom is what you will present back to God at the end of your life.
So, yes everyone has a soul, but no, they are not the same. Some have bigger ones than others, some are covered with the mud of life and just need a good cleaning, some are irreparably smashed.
Hope that answers it for you :)

Yes everyone has them. No they are not the same. The soul is basically your emotions, mentality, way of thinking and so on. Your spirit, however, is what maintains your life. When we die, our spirit leaves our body. In conclusion, the spirit is what really matters. It's eternal. Our soul is temporary.

Here's a different take on it. The Bible say that the spirit knows what's in the heart of man just as the Holy Spirit knows what's in the heart of God. When I read this, it occurred to me that maybe the body, spirit, and soul form a sort of mini-trinity and this is part of us being made in the image of God. Soul-the FAther, spirit-Holy Spirit, and body-Jesus Christ. I could be wrong. Just speculating.

Everyone is both, but they are not the same. Hint: the perspective of the soul is larger. The spirit knows, the soul experiences.

Every person is a spirit, he possesses a soul and he lives in a body. The spirit is said to be composed of the intuition, conscience and communion (the ability to relate to God), The soul is composed of the will, mind and emotion. They are not the same.

Yes they do and no we are all individuals. Even science can prove the existence of the soul/spirit/life force, they just don't like to call it that. If you are interested look up what is called a corrilian (I hope I spelled it right) camera. It photographs the spectrum of light that we can not see with the naked eye. There is a lot of scientific proof if you look it up my friend.
