i am gettin a pair of dog tags and i dont know what goes on each line.

Line 2 - First Name, Middle Initial
Line 3 - Social Security Number
Line 4 - Blood Type
Line 5 - Religious Preference

What is on your dog tags has nothing to do with OPSEC. The first three you are required to give if you are captured anyhow. Blood type is for medical reasons and you dont have to put a religion on them.

why are you getting a pair of dog tags made and you dont know what goes on each line. if you needed dog tags you would know what goes on each line. those of you who answered this question in detail are WRONG.
it does have to deal with opsec. people shouldnt be givening it out anyways. yes you are required to give the information when you are captured. people dont need to know what is on them so they can have them made and pose as a soldier.

it may determine that an E-7 does not lead you incorrect. there is likewise an hypersensitivity tag that is going L1 final call L2 First call L3 SSN L4 hypersensitivity of course not each soldier gets them yet, they are required while you're allergic to drugs, etc

first you full name second you're social security number third you're blood type last you're religious preference. you get 2 tags so that one can be taken from you and the other can be stuck into youre mouth to hold it open so they can check dental records when you die.
