A Christian is a person who has taken on faith that what the Bible says with regards Jesus and being justified and reconciled, and asked Jesus to be their friend and done this with all sincerety holding nothing back, at which time the comforter indwells them and gives them the power to walk in righteousness and conform to the image of Jesus. Part of that process is understanding we live in flawed flesh and that we are truly remorseful about the acts which are sinful that we commited in the past and will commit in the future. A Christian goes through this process regularly for the rest of their life.
If you knew a Christian 5 years ago and were separated and then came back together you would see they have grown towards Godliness in an unmistakable pattern.
Those who are not growing (producing fruits of the spirit of God) are not actually Christians and the reason it is my guess is that they either were not sincere at step one in which case perhaps they should try it again, or perhaps someone told them that, that first step was all they ever needed to do and they hung with others who believed the same and they all brought each other down, or there is the possibility that only those called to begin with would ever be accepted after the initial step.
he one mark I find constant among Christians who bear fruit is they like reading their Bibles. There are probably other things I am not recalling right now, but that is a pretty good summary. Oh yeah all Cristians feel conviction about the things they do that are not loving.
A Christian grows, no growth not a Christian.

1) A Christian is someone who believes in God and that Jesus was his son sent to die for our sins.
2) A good Christian is very hard to come by. They need to be loving, kind, caring, understanding, respectful... the list goes on. You will most likely not find these people. They will be judgmental, cruel, selfish, hypocritical, hateful...to be a good Christian is the same as being a good person, basically. Try to help others, try to be supportive, try to love, try not to ridicule. Being a good person and being a Christian should be the same thing.

1 A Christian is a follower of Christ.
2 A Christian should be strong in their faith and tolerate people who are different than themselves. They should keep the commandments and follow the teachings of their saviour Jesus Christ. They do not go to Church just to socialize they go there to learn the word of God.
