I'm a member of PETA, and it's because I strongly believe that killing and undue torture is wrong. Needless to say, killing babies(born or unborn) is not something I agree with. So, while you're presenting a very valid point, please know that not all PETA members are as overzealous and illogical as that. Those who criminalize a fisher for making a living yet turning around a supporting killing of speachless babies are plainly hipocritical.

As with anything each has a valid point and of course each has it's bad points.
Most fisherman and hunters are more apt to protecting wildlife and fisheries then an organization is. There are however as with any recreation those who abuse it and don't respect nature. I for one don't agree with an animal being killed soley for a jacket or pair of boot's that looks hip but, when hunters or fisherman go out into nature and hunt for their food you can rest assured that animals are taken down more humanely then they are at processing houses and that there is very little that isn't used.
PETA and organizations like them need to actually go out into the woods and take a look. Maybe they think that its cruel to shoot a deer or elk etc but conidering that the animal is usually dead within seconds I think thats more humane then the thousand's of deer that starve to death daily due to there numbers in being out of control. While some may still think its evil or inhumane its also a balance of nature.

God's heart is crushed every time a child is aborted. The person responsible for murdering the unborn child will go to hell and so will the person performing the murder. Animals, including fish, were put on this earth by God for man to do as he needs. Plain and simple.

I don't support cruelty to animals, and am generally pretty tolerant of other people's beliefs. But PETA is an exception. They're a bunch of wackos. They have no grip on reality...

That's the weirdest comparison I've ever seen. Who says that PETA members all support abortion?
