in micro evolution and not macro evolution without believing that life only existed 6000 years on earth?
if you believe that life has been on earth for about 3 billion years as most scientist agree, then how can you believe in micro evolution and not macro evolution without taking into account that 3 billion years of micro evolution will undoubtedly lead to macro evolution? unless you believe that species have been running in a proverbial evolutionary circle for the pat 3 billion years without change.

Christians feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that humans were created from dirt.

Christians are willing to spend their life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of the Earth (4.55 billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is about a couple of generations old.

Some people get me. We humans don't have a clue how long a day is in God's life. Some say it's a thousand years and other think it's the same as our day. There are 3 earth ages in the Bible. Those 3 earth ages could very well be 3 billion years as far as we know. Why is it that everyone tries to place the same restrictions on God as are on us? God has no restrictions at all. A single day in God's life may very well be a thousand years to us.

I could care less if God made things a little bit of time ago. or a long time ago. doesn't have a thing to do with my spiritual growth not one little bit. I don't see why some people concern themselves with that question.they should be concerned with excepting the Spirit of God into there lifes. asking of the Spirit what they may. listening for the answers. and trying to do Gods will in there lives That right there is what matters. not much more then that.why in the world would it matter when and how God made everything.? I know that God did.thats all I need to know.

Evolution has nothing to do with "belief"... I never say that I believe in evolution... I say that I accept it.

So, you can refuse to accept it, but that's about it. As for how you can not accept it... you can listen to bad science on sites like Answers in Genesis and not check your facts when you do so. Happens all the time, unfortunately.

6000 years is just the written history available from the oldest civilized countries like China and Egypt. But creation was who knows how long...as scientists say.

Wonderful senseless argument about dead people. Jesus says were not to worry about the dead yet I and every other caring Soul is supposed to agree with no sense to prove righteousness? Dream on.

Where does this 6,000 year old earth theory come from? I have no idea how old the earth is. It doesn't matter to me, since I believe the biblical account of creation.
