Well Solomon married an Ethiopian (most likely black) who said this -Do not stare at me because I am dark, because I am darkened by the sun. My mother's sons were angry with me and made me take care of the vineyards; my own vineyard I have neglected.- Song of Solomon 1:6
This is one of few places where skin color is even mention but, Ethiopians are usually black so, most likely from thousands of generations of strong sun exposure.

The Bible probably did give an explanation, but many books have been hidden. Humans started at the equator, modern man was black and balanced with nature, as man left this hot zone, they also left a protein called melanin.

All the people on this planet Earth are descendants from the first couple -
Adam and Eve. We are ALL just shades of that same colour !
Hold a sheet of Real White and Real Black paper up against your skin.
I can tell you "for certain" that your skin colour matches neither of these
paper colour samples. We are all "off white - or - BROWN !
WE ARE ALL OF THE SAME COLOUR because we are all indeed
descendants of that couple. Because of protective pigmentation we
are of different shades indeed.
What a beautiful example of how OUR MAKER designed us and built
a protective system into our skins to protect us from the suns rays !
Few people realize that The Bible does not say anything in opposition to
what is referred to as "mixed marriages". This is precisely why.

The Bible explanation: Cain killed his brother, Abel. He was afraid others would kill him because of that, so God turned his skin black as a mark of protection that no man should kill him.
One of Cain's descendants was a woman that married a son of Noah. Therefore, the Black race was preserved through the flood. It is believed that they became the Egyptians and spread into Africa and other countries from there.

No, it does not. But science does. They are from Africa, where the sun is more intense. The extra pigmentation in the skin provides protection against the sun's rays.

I'll give you a better reason. Genetically some people have more melanocytes, thus they have a darker skin pigment.

No not all people used to be white. Skin pigments evolved due to environment. Just as all animals adapt to their surroundings so did we.
