What Makes Hydrogen Peroxide Fizz

Hydrogen Peroxide when mixed with body fluid will fizz.
No,it doesn't always fizz when put on other surfaces. . try placing it on a cabinet counter, unless the counter is filthy,it probably won't fizz.
Try pouring it on the absorbant pad of a sterile bandaid,no fizz.
Now if you pour it on a piece of moldy bread it will probably fizz because of the bacteria.
Yes it is killing the germs as one says their parent says.
The only thing about hydrogen peroxide is that when it is done with the fizzing you only have water left on your wound and water is the beginning of bacteria.
My mother as a Registered Nurse forbid me or any of my siblings from using it for this very reason.
Water and body heat is just a breeding ground for bacteria.
To use it in an open wound is probably not a good idea for this very reason(always remember when using it on an open wound,to dry the wound throughly afterwards) but to use it in your ear to loosen ear wax is probably not going to hurt you except for the fact that you can get the water trapped in your ear perhaps behind ear wax and bingo, there is possibility of infection from trapped water.
Be Careful.
