Of course if I though Islam was the correct (or most correct) religion I would join it. As it is, though, I cannot be separated from Christ.
I very much want to learn more about Islam, and I am gradually and steadily learning about it.
I believe it is good to know how others think and what they believe.

I'm an atheist. I would have to be convinced that there's a god before I would consider any religion. Religion is waaaay down on the list of things I would have to begin believing in that process. And I don't see the first step happening, so...

I've been having some interesting discussions with a woman at work who is Muslim (Sunni). But even based on what she has told me about the religion, its history, and its background, I wouldn't be inclined to convert to it. She is happy with it and it works for her - and I think that's wonderful. But it's not my path.

The media doesn't portray Islam to be as bad as it really is.
There were 35 beheadings. How many did you hear about? Only 3. Islam has been "looked" into! No thanx!

First off, I don't believe that there is a "correct" religion. All religions are man made.
But, for the sake of your question: No. I would rather burn than spend eternity as a servant to an oppresive God.
How can one truly love that which they fear?

I am open minded to learn about it...but my Jesus has performed miracles for me....I have been born again and baptized in His name....I know the Bible is the perfect word of God.
Plus Mohammed married a 9 year old kid at age 52 and the Q'ran reccomends drinking camel urine and flies.
If you have other evidence, let me know.

Islam denies that Jesus was the son of God who died on a cross, rose again, and is the only way to salvation. Therefore Islam, in my opinion, is a false religion. I've no further interest in it.

in my opinion there's no such thing as "the correct religion". religion is simply a tool used to control and manipulate the milling masses.
spirituality is an individual experience and expression which doesn't need the support of a huge peer group to feel valid to the individual.

I don't feel that there's a single correct religion.
I have indeed tried to learn about Islam, and though I'm not a Muslim, I have found that we do share a lot of beliefs.
