Diabetes usually has the triad of : Polyphagia (increase food intake) along with weight loss, Polyuria (excessive urination ) and Polydypsia (increased thirst ).
Excess urination would be better addressed depending on age .
If you are young , the way you describe, could be due to excess Tea drinking ( do you drink a lot ) , there is a condition where people drink a lot of water and urinate thus a lot , but this would lead later to drop of the sodium in the body which can give symptoms .
the other question is ,the quantity , is it a full bladder or just the feeling to go and then you pee a little ? if this is the situation it could be due to irritation of the bladder which can happen from infection .
Now if you are Old age , lets say above 60 (or possibly above 50 ), excess urination can be due to problems with the prostate, but then it would be more of a feeling to go , but when you do it is little only , and the urine in this situation when tested is perfectly normal .
Infection can be a possibility but then you said that your urine testing came back normal , so I doubt it .
It can be multiple possibilities , but more details are needed for calrification .
Just an adendum : after reading some of the answers , thyroid problems don't lead to urinary symptoms , on the other hand someone mentioned hypoglycemia , it does not also has anything to do with the urination and when it occurs , you would have palpitations, sweating and even you might loose conciousness .

You may have one of the pre-diabetic syndromes. This can be checked out by getting a fasting blood insulin test. If it comes back high (10 or more on the American scale) then you have hyperinsulinemia.
For some basic info on hypoglycemia, one of the pre-diabetic syndromes that definitely caused me to gain weight, check out www.hufa.org.

Probably not diabetes...but you should have a simple blood test done to rule it out. Some people just have over-active bladders

Tea is a natural diuretic. I do the same thing. Cut down on the tea and drink more water and see what happens.
