I always used the loopy thing. I bought a Waterpik but it will not floss the teeth. Just keep using the loopy thing; it will become very easy to do after awhile.

Oral B makes something, I think its called smart floss. You get get it at target, walmart, basically anywhere. It has regular floss on one end and a stiff end to help get around braces, and a fuzzy part to help with gaps.

get super floss...it has little tuffs that actually work to buff the teeth and you can get it in and around braces....if you are going to use water pik be very careful because if not used properly it can help cause decay and inflamation of the gingival tissue. be careful of the hummingbird too...it can cause tissue trauma.

You can try using a water pik. Any brand will do. It will help clean out debris from around your brackets.

Your dental hygienist should be able to give you other recommendations and samples. I like to give out little brushes that look like little christmas trees. It's perfect to get in between the brackets.

try something called Go Betweens by Oral B . They are a tiny wire brush on a little handle. They work great

ahh..pain in the butt flossing isnt it?!

other than threading it through, not sure what to tell you. i had this cool TINY brush that could fit between brackets...you might want to ask your ortho about that...they sell them at drug stores.
