Because there is no oxygen flow. You are breathing in the same air all day. Whether your fan is on or not it is just swishing the used warm air around your room. Open a window or keep the door open or instead of staying in your room all day go out and exercise or something. The outdoors is fun too! Wait I know how you can cool your self down! Go swimming in a nonheated pool and drink lots of cold water with icecubes. Also the problem could be that you have a temperature.

You should see your physician and ask him/her to see if there are any medical causes for you change in temperature. Certain medications can alter someone's ablilty to regulate his/her temperature (though I would not recommend stopping any meds without talking with your doctor first). Also, certain endocrine problems (thyroid hyperactivity, in particular) can cause one to feel very hot.
Once these are evaluated and treated, then you can work on getting an air conditioner for your room...but I would see your doctor first.

First make sure you are not sick by taking your temperature...if you don't have a thermometer you can get one for a dollar or two at a supermarket.
Other than that, take a cold shower, drink ice water, wear less clothing, drink less caffeine (speeds up your heart and makes you dissipate more heat).

Drink icewater. If you have a waterbed, turn the heater off and just sleep on it. Go swimming. Take a cold shower or bath. There are many answers.

If you are older, it could be perimenipause. Some women go through this in the early thirties. This can last 10 years.

Your answer is in your question. You sit in your room all day. Get outside if that is possible, and do some physical activities.
