You have disregarded the law by being convicted twice for the same crime and you want to be a cop?!! Police ENFORCE the law. Can you do that after being convicted twice?!

Evidently you plan on going in being corrupt. And that is if the police administration actually considers you. For all you know you may not even pass police training and classes. Do you know how tough they are?!

Good luck, because you'll need it!

You can likely still be a police officer so long as the convictions were long ago and your license has since been restored. Most police agencies except that people sometimes commit crimes and do stupid things in their younger years. The agency will look at your background as a whole in determining whether or not you would be a good candidate for the job.

Odds are good that if your tickets were ten years ago, no one will care. If they were ten months ago, you probably won't be a good candidate.
